The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued an

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
northern Victoria County in south Texas...

* until 445 PM CDT

* at 343 PM CDT Doppler radar indicated heavy rainfall over northern
Victoria County... where Doppler radar estimates indicate 2 to 4
inches of rainfall has fallen. Another 1 to 2 inches are still
possible as storms over southern Victoria County move into the area.
Some minor flooding is possible... mainly north of the city of
Victoria.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Move to higher ground.

Brief funnel clouds will be possible within thunderstorms this
afternoon. Expect these funnels to be weak and short-lived... and
normally do not touch down.

If you see a funnel cloud... go indoors and stay aways from
windows.

Please pass on reports of funnel clouds to your local law
enforcement.
