At 2:51 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to detect a large area of showers and isolated thunderstorms affecting much of northeast Oklahoma. The stronger areas of reflectivity were located within creek...Tulsa...and Okmulgee counties. All this activity was moving toward the southeast...around 40 miles per hour. Through 4:00 PM...occasional rain showers with isolated thunderstorms will remain possible for much of eastern Oklahoma...primarily along and west of a Grainola to Fort Smith line. The heavier rainfall will fall within southern Osage...Pawnee...creek...Tulsa...and Okmulgee counties. Stronger thunderstorms were located just west of Osage and Pawnee counties...and may move into the far western portions of those counties. Rainfall amounts will generally be light...with less than a tenth of an inch per hour. The stronger thunderstorms could produce brief heavy rain...up to a quarter inch. No severe weather is expected.
