... High Wind Warning remains in effect from 10 am CST this
morning to 7 PM CST this evening...

* timing... from 10 am CST this morning to 7 PM CST this evening.

* Winds... southwest 40 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph. The strongest
winds are expected across the western Texas Panhandle.

* Impacts... high winds can blow down small outbuildings and
break limbs. Sudden wind gusts can cause drivers to lose
control... especially in lightweight or high profile vehicles.
Strong winds can cause blowing dust... reducing visibility...
and cause flying debris. Isolated power outages could be
possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.

for the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles...

conditions are expected to begin around 11 am CST Tuesday
morning and are expected to end around 7 PM CST Tuesday
evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures will
create favorable weather for rapid fire growth and spread. Avoid
activities that promote open flames and Sparks.
