Special Statement

Expires 4:00 PM EDT on October 31, 2014
Statement as of 3:29 am EDT on October 31, 2014

... A blustery evening ahead...

A strong cold front will sweep across central Indiana today. This
will result in cold air arriving in central Indiana by this
evening with temperatures falling into the 30s. Strong winds
around 20 mph with gusts to around 35 mph will result in wind
chill values in the 20s.

Furthermore an upper level weather disturbance will arrive in the
area and may bring a mix of snow or ice pellets to much of
central Indiana during the evening hours. Little to no
accumulation is expected.

If you have outdoor activities planned this evening... be prepared
for a taste of early winter... including cold temperatures... gusty
winds and snow showers or ice pellets.
