Now
A collision of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico sea breeze boundaries will occur between 600 and 700 PM...from south-central Volusia County...through eastern Seminole and Orange counties to central Osceola County. As the wind shift boundaries collide from opposite directions...rising air should result in scattered thunderstorm formation across this region during the early evening. Subsequent storm motion should be toward the north or northeast at 15 to 20 mph. Cloud-to-ground lightning...locally heavy rain and wind gusts to around 35 mph will accompany the strongest storms. Elsewhere across east central Florida...only isolated early evening showers or thunderstorms are expected...with limited coverage and intensity.
