The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flood Warning for the Nueces River near Three Rivers.
* From this evening to Sunday morning... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 7:15 PM Saturday... the stage was 22.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise to flood stage this evening and continue to rise to
near 25.1 feet around midnight tonight. The river will then fall
below flood stage Sunday morning.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 26.3 feet
on Apr 17 2010.
* At 25.0 feet minor lowland flooding occurs... and damages irrigation
pumps and equipment vulnerable to lowland flooding. Flooding of
secondary roads... low bridges and pasturland also occurs.
