Maps Country List Summary
Weather Underground Forecast for Monday, March 22, 2010. A high pressure system will begin the day over southern Japan and the Korea Strait before it moves eastward into the Pacific Ocean as the day progresses. This will allow dry conditions in the morning from the Yellow Sea through southern Japan.

The dry conditions will be followed by a low pressure system and associated front that will push through northern China and the Yellow Sea. This will translate to increasing precipitation from Shanghai through the Korean Peninsula in the afternoon and evening. This feature will be on the verge of moving into Japan late Monday and into Tuesday.

A tongue of cold air will stretch southward into southern China and the Yellow Sea. The frigid air will remain farther north in northern China and Mongolia.

Tokyo will rise into the lower 50s(F)/lower 10s(C), while Shanghai will see temperatures in the mid-60s(F)/upper 10s(C). Seoul will rise into the mid-40s(F)/upper 0s(C).

For Australia, the remnants of Tropical Cyclone Ului will continue moving inland in northern Queensland. Strong winds along with concentrated heavy rain will continue to be a problem mainly north of Brisbane. The city itself will see areas of rain and even some thunderstorms as the day progresses.

Elsewhere, a low pressure system along the west coast of the country will produce areas of precipitation mainly east of Shark Bay.

Sydney will rise into the upper 70s(F)/mid-20s(C), while Melbourne will see temperatures in the lower 70s(F)/lower 20s(C). Brisbane will rise into the lower 80s(F)/upper 20s(C).
