Friday.
* Locations... northern Berkshires... western Mohawk Valley... Lake
George Saratoga region... northern Taconics and southern Vermont.
* Hazards... areas of frost.
* Temperatures... mid 30s.
* Timing... late tonight into early Friday morning.
* Impacts... near freezing temperatures and areas of frost will damage
unprotected crops and tender vegetation.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor
plants may be killed if left uncovered.

The National Weather Service in Albany New York is pleased to
announce the final basic Skywarn spotter training session for
Spring 2012.
In Hudson New York... on may 21... at 7 PM.
Pre registration is required for all Skywarn spotter training
sessions and is only available via the internet. To Register by
internet go to www.Weather.Gov. Then click on eastern New
York... and look for the link to Skywarn spotter training. If you
do not have internet access... you may be able to Register via the
internet at your local Library.
