... Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 10 am to 8 PM CDT Sunday...
The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a lake Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 10 am to 8 PM CDT Sunday.
* Event... south winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts upwards of 30 mph
during late Sunday morning through Sunday evening near sunset.
* Timing... south winds will increase throughout Sunday
morning... continue through Sunday afternoon... and then diminish
during Sunday evening through sunset.
* Impact... strong winds produce a rough chop and potentially
hazardous boating conditions on area lakes.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to capsizing.
