Wet weather will persist in the Northwestern US as the rest of the country remains under mild weather conditions on Sunday.

Cold conditions will extend down the coast with daytime highs in the 60s and overnight lows expected to drop into the 30s. Thus, frost and freeze advisories will remain in effect in the valleys.

A low pressure system will track through the Northern Plains and into the Upper Midwest. This may kick up scattered showers throughout the day, but will most likely only trigger a clouds over the region. The Northern Plains and and Midwest will see high sin the 40s and 50s with mild weather. The Southern Plains will be hot, dry and breezy on Monday with high in the 80s and strong winds gusting up to 25 mph expected.
