... High wind watch remains in effect from 10 am EST Monday
through Monday evening...

* winds... sustained southwest winds could increase to 3o to 40
mph Monday afternoon with gusts of 50 to 60 mph possible.

* Timing... the strongest winds are expected Monday afternoon and

* Impacts... damaging winds are possible that may bring down
trees and power lines.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means that the potential exists for strong
damaging winds to develop. These strong winds could bring down
trees and power lines as well as cause property damage. If a High
Wind Warning is issued... stay inside... and away from windows. Be
prepared for trees blocking roadways and power outages. Stay
tuned to weather radio for further details or updates.
