The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flood Watch for portions of central Georgia... east central
Georgia... southeast Georgia and west central Georgia.

* From Friday morning through Saturday morning

* rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches is possible through Saturday
morning. Wet soil conditions and above normal streamflow in this
region will enhance the risk of flooding.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible flood
warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
