The Flood Warning continues for
the Ochlockonee River near Thomasville (us 84).
* From Saturday morning to Monday evening... or until the warning is
* At 3:45 PM Friday the stage was 12.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow morning and continue
to rise to near 15.9 feet by early Sunday morning. The river will
fall below flood stage by Monday afternoon.
* Impact... at 15.0 feet... this is considered initial flood stage.
River access roads and lowlands along the river will be flooded.

Wind Advisory

Statement as of 12:11 PM EDT on April 18, 2014

... Wind Advisory remains in effect from 6 PM this evening to 8 am
EDT Saturday...

* locations... portions of north and central Georgia.

* Winds... northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Timing... this evening to Saturday morning.

* Impacts... very strong and gusty winds will cause moderate to
large sized branches to fall... as well as trees that have been
weakened by the recent weather. High profile vehicles are also
affected by these winds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least
20 mph... or gusts to 35 mph or stronger are expected. Winds this
strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
