... Flash Flood Watch in effect through Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for north and portions of central Georgia.

* Through Sunday morning

* periods of heavy rain will move across north and central Georgia
through Sunday morning with an additional 2 to 4 inches of
rainfall. Isolated higher amounts will be possible.

* Saturated soils from rainfall over the past few days along with
the additional rainfall expected may cause flash flooding of
roadways and especially around creeks... small streams... low
lying and urban areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
Turn around don't drown!

You should monitor future forecasts and be prepared to take
action should flash flood warnings be issued.
