... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9 PM this evening to
6 PM MDT Monday...
The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 9 PM this
evening to 6 PM MDT Monday.
* Timing... snow will become more persistent and widespread by
midnight tonight and then continue through most of Monday.
* Snow accumulations... 3 to 7 inches.
* Wind/visibility... northwest wins 10 to 20 mph with gusts to
around 30 mph. Visibilities may be reduced to a quarter mile in
the heavier snow showers late tonight and Monday.
* Impacts... high elevations roads including Rabbit Ears Pass and
Cameron Pass may become slushy or snow covered during the
heavier snow showers.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
