... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 3 PM MDT Friday...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 3 PM MDT Friday.

* Timing... midnight tonight through 3 PM Friday afternoon.

* Total snow accumulations... 5 to 8 inches.

* Winds/visibilities... north to northeast winds of 15 to 25 mph
with higher gusts will continue through early Friday afternoon.
Visibilities could be significantly reduced by a combination of
snow and blowing snow.

* Impacts... hazardous driving conditions can be expected through
early Friday afternoon. Areas of drifting snow will create
treacherous driving conditions through Friday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
