... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to
noon PST Sunday above 2000 feet for snow...
The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory above 2000 feet for snow... which is in effect from
10 PM this evening to noon PST Sunday. The Winter Storm Watch is
no longer in effect.
2 to 4 inches of snow is expected to fall over the Okanogan
Valley and upper Columbia Basin beginning late this evening and
continuing through midday Sunday. Snow accumulations on the
Waterville Plateau will rainge from 3 to 5 inches.
The snow will taper off by Sunday afternoon.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
