Statement as of 10:47 PM PST on November 21, 2009

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 am PST Sunday...
... High Wind Warning is cancelled...

The National Weather Service in Seattle has cancelled the High
Wind Warning. A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 10 am PST
Sunday.

Southeast winds across the northwest interior will turn northeast
and diminish by midnight. Winds will rapidly increase to northwest
25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph after 4 am and will continue
until about 8 am before slowly diminishing during the late morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory is issued when sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph or
gusts of 45 to 57 mph are likely. Winds this strong can snap
small tree branches... topple small or shallow-rooted trees... and
cause local power outages.
