Sunday.
* Areas affected: lower Maryland and Virginia Eastern Shore.
* Hazards: snow and blowing snow.
* Accumulations: around 1 inch.
* Winds: northwest 20 to 30 mph... with gusts to 40 mph.
* Timing: occasional light snow late this evening with a period of
steady snow after midnight. The wind is expected to remain strong
overnight into Sunday morning.
* Impacts: limited visibility and the potential for slick roads
especially on elevated surfaces.
Precautionary/preparedness actions... a Winter Weather Advisory
for snow and blowing snow means that visibility will be limited
due to strong winds blowing snow around. Use caution when
traveling... especially in open areas.
