Dense Fog Advisory

Expires 8:00 AM CST on November 22, 2009
Statement as of 2:24 am CST on November 22, 2009

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 8 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 8 am CST this morning.

Areas of fog will persist overnight across portions of central and
south-central Oklahoma... generally from near Anadarko... to
Tishomingo... and south to the Red River. This advisory includes
Interstate 44 from northeast of Lawton to Wichita Falls... and
I-35 from Pauls Valley to the Texas border. Visibilities will be
one-quarter of a mile or less in some locations. Drivers should be
particularly cautious in and near the Arbuckle Mountains between
Pauls Valley and Ardmore.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
