Scattered snow showers with embedded isolated thunderstorms will increase in coverage during the early afternoon hours over portions of central New Mexico. Movement will be to the northeast. Through 200 PM MST...this activity will impact central and southern Socorro County including Interstate 25 mainly south of Bernardo. Snow showers will also cross western Lincoln County...from Carrizozo to Claunch and Corona and southern Torrance County. Expect a quick half an inch of snow with this activity. Road surfaces will be icy or snow covered with dangerous driving conditions at times including local visibility restrictions in snow or fog. Be prepared for sudden changes in Road conditions.
