* At 7:00 am Thursday the stage was 9.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Tuesday March 23rd early
afternoon and continue to rise to near 14.6 feet by early Thursday
morning March 25th. Additional rises are possible.
* Impact... at 14.3 feet... lock and dam 3 may end operations.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 15.3 feet
on Jun 28 1993.

the Mississippi River missing Red Wing l/d 3.
* At 8:00 am Thursday the stage was 675.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 680.5 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Tuesday March 23rd early
afternoon and continue to rise to near 681.1 feet by early
Thursday morning March 25th. Additional rises are possible.

* At 10:45 am Thursday the stage was 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 18.0 feet by
Wednesday March 24th early afternoon then begin falling. Additional
rises are possible.
* Impact... at 19.0 feet... flood waters begin to affect eastern
portions of Hastings.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 16.9 feet
on Apr 7 1986.

the Mississippi River at St Paul.
* At 11:15 am Thursday the stage was 11.7 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow March 19th late
morning and continue to rise to near 19.8 feet by Wednesday
morning March 24th. Additional rises are possible.
* Impact... at 18.0 feet... Warner Road may become impassable due to
high water.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 19.1 feet
on Jun 26 1993.

the Minnesota river at Savage.
* At 11:00 am Thursday the stage was 700.6 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 702.0 feet.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by early tomorrow March 19th and
continue to rise to near 712.4 feet by Wednesday morning March 24th.
Additional rises are possible.
* Impact... at 712.0 feet... water begins to back up the Credit River
and block the Highway 101 frontage Road.
* Flood history... this level compares to a previous crest of 713.7
feet on Jun 26 1993.
