... Winter Storm Warning now in effect until 11 PM MST this

The Winter Storm Warning for now and blowing snow is now in effect
until 11 PM MST this evening.

A Pacific storm system will spread into the central Idaho
mountains early this morning. Storm total snowfall of up to 10
inches is expected in the mountains with 3 to 6 inches possible in
the valleys. Brisk west winds will also accompany the storm
producing areas of blowing and drifting snow with visibility
reduced to 1/4 mile or less at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected. Strong winds are also possible. This will make travel
very hazardous or impossible.
