... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 10 am CST this morning.

Dense fog... reducing visibility to near zero in places... has developed
over the region and will persist through mid morning. Visibility
restrictions will improve after 9 am this morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibility will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your low beam headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead
of you.
