A red flag warning remains in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to
7 PM EDT this evening. A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect
from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.
High pressure will build into the region today... bringing in drier
air. Relative humidity values are expected to drop below 35
percent for four or more hours this afternoon across inland areas.
The dry air will continue through Saturday with the possibility of
several hours of relative humidity below 35 percent across inland
areas.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A red flag warning is issued when very favorable conditions for
the spread of wildfire are occurring now... or will occur within
24 hours.
