* timing... Arctic high pressure building across the deep south
will keep a very cold airmass over east central Florida into
Monday morning. Near freezing temperatures in the mid to upper
30s are occurring this morning across lake... Volusia... Seminole
and Orange counties and temperatures are expected to drop several
degrees to below freezing across most of the warned area before
sunrise this morning. Urbanized areas such as Orlando are
expected to remain just above freezing this morning.
Freezing temperatures are expected again Monday morning.
* Impacts... the freezing temperatures will cause damage to cold
sensitive plants and vegetation.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other
sensitive vegetation.

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from 4 am to 9 am EST
Sunday...
* northwest winds around 10 to 15 mph overnight will combine with
chilly overnight temperatures to produce wind chill values near
or below freezing for all of east central Florida. Wind chill
values will range from the low to mid 20s across the interior
to the low 30s along the coastal areas of the space and Treasure
coasts.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and strong winds will
combine to generate low wind chills. If you must venture
outdoors... dress warmly in layers and make sure you wear a hat
and gloves.
Fire Weather Warning

... Red flag warning in effect from 9 am this morning to 7 PM EST
this evening for all of east central Florida for long duration of
critical rh and gusty northwest winds...
* wind... northwest to north 10 to 15 mph with gusts to 20 mph in
the morning.
* Humidity... six to eight hours of critical rh values with
minimum rh around 30 percent.
* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A red flag warning is issued when very favorable conditions for
the spread of wildfire are occurring now... or will likely occur
within the next 24 hours.
