Synopsis For The Southern Oregon Coastal Waters
Gusty north winds and steep hazardous seas will continue through the morning. High pressure builds in this afternoon with winds gradually decreasing into the evening. Seas will remain elevated through mid week with long period westerly swell. Another cold front will move through the waters Tuesday then high pressure rebuilds at mid week.

N wind 15 to 25 kt except NW 10 to 20 kt within 5 nm of Brookings southward. Wind waves 6 to 9 ft...subsiding to 4 to 6 ft in the afternoon. Swell W 8 to 9 ft at 11 seconds and NW 3 to 6 ft at 4 seconds...building to NW 12 ft at 14 seconds and NW 6 ft at 9 seconds in the afternoon. Rain before sunrise...then showers.

N wind 15 to 25 kt...easing to 10 to 20 kt in the late evening and overnight. Within 5 nm of Brookings southward...N wind 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 4 to 6 ft in the evening...becoming 2 ft or less. Swell NW 11 to 13 ft at 14 seconds. Slight chance of showers.
